What is joint mobilisation?

Mobilisation applies slow, graded movements to a stiff joint. Unlike a high-velocity adjustment, force and speed are dialled to the joint and to your comfort level.

How we use it

We use mobilisation across the spine, ribs, shoulders, hips, knees and feet — anywhere a joint has lost its normal range. It's often the technique that lets a stubborn thoracic spine finally breathe.

Common conditions

Stiff mid-back, frozen shoulder, hip impingement, arthritic knees and ankles, and post-cast stiffness. Osteopath Mitcham — hands-on osteopathy at Lifestyle Essentials, 503 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham.
