What is cranial sacral osteopathy?

Cranial sacral technique uses very light contact around the skull, spine and sacrum to work with the involuntary rhythms of the central nervous system. It settles the body from a state of guarding into one of rest and repair.

How we use it

We often finish a session with cranial work to integrate the changes made, or use it as the primary technique when a client is highly stressed, post-concussion, or presenting with unexplained tension headaches.

Common conditions

Tension and migraine headaches, TMJ pain, post-concussion symptoms, infant reflux and settling issues, jaw clenching, and stress-driven pain patterns. Osteopath Mitcham — hands-on osteopathy at Lifestyle Essentials, 503 Whitehorse Road, Mitcham.
